Walking 5 days in a wild area, almost in the end of the world...
No trails, no people, almost no animals even. You just have a book with general instructions of where to go, a compass and your experience and luck... The book says to cross the mountains to the other side and you have to decide how to do it. Sometimes you choose the good way, but sometimes you choose the harder way (wothout knowing in advance) and you have to go between part of trees or in a really muddy area, but the important thing is that you get to the lake or the valley or where ever you suppose to get. Every where you see Beaver dams and beaver ponds that sometimes help you in the way but sometimes make the way much worse.
So... thats what we did in the last 5 days, its called Sierra valdivieso circuit, it was suppose to take 4 days, but the rain made it harder to find the way, so it took us 5 days. We didnt see any beaver just the disaster they made in the area, but the trek was amazing, the most chalenging trek i have ever done, and the fact that this area is almost untouched by people adds to the experience.
We came back yesterday evening tired but happy!
